CREAM FAMILY LEGACY
A Tribute to Our Legacy
Welcome
to Our Site
This website honors the lives of two remarkable souls: Joseph A. Cream, Sr., born in the Virgin Isles, West Indies on January 31, 1871, and Edna E. Amos, born in Pennsauken, New Jersey on March 4, 1888. They were united in marriage on June 8, 1908, by Rev. E. E. Parker in Merchantville, New Jersey. Their faith, love, and resilience shaped generations.
Their story began in an era when children were born at home, long before modern record‑keeping. Eleven of their twelve children entered the world in their own home. Birth dates were certified by the school nurse, and young men carried selective service numbers rather than social security numbers. Through quiet strength and purposeful living, Edna and Joseph laid the foundation for a legacy that has been growing since 1906.
To their children, grandchildren, and all descendants,
May you carry forward their light, walk in their wisdom, and live with the same grace that defined their days.
